Bishop Collins Company Director, Ian Rodrigues is in one word “generous”, with his time, energy and knowledge. Ian’s desire to help others is what led him to accounting in the first place.
Initially Ian always knew he wanted to be involved in business and working with people. Becoming an accountant was suggested to him by a friend, as a great way to begin and learn about Business. He took that advice and the rest as they say…
Ian started his professional career more than 25 years ago. During this time, Ian completed an array of professional qualifications. These included a Commerce degree, the Charted Accountants Program and a Masters in Taxation.
Having previously gained valuable experience working with 2 other firms, Ian has spent the last 11 years at Bishop Collins. Over this time Ian has played a huge part in developing the accounting business and culture of the team to be a professional business that he is proud of.
Familiar with and experienced in most aspects of accounting and business advice, Ian has moved to specialising in Property Investment Funds where he has built a strong and capable team.
Ian believes making great business and investments returns and keeping your tax costs down are critical to assist great business people. This is what he is extremely good at advising on. Having worked with so many clients, other advisors and specialists over the years, Ian’s experience is diversified and broad. Sharing this experience and knowledge keeps the desire to help others in business and is now becoming more focused on teaching what he knows.
Ian describes himself as caring, loyal and energetic. Modestly neglecting to acknowledge his patience, dedication and constant desire to help others reach their financial potential.
