As financial planners, we are authorised representatives of Apogee Financial Planning Limited. This provides us with the appropriate authority to provide financial advice and gives us access to the latest information. All of this helps us to deliver the best possible results for you.

Our business is based on providing risk analysis, protection and funding advice for a fee. At times it may be in a clients best interests for us to be paid a commission instead and we will only do so on our clients instructions. As a fee for service business, we provide professional advice that you can trust. Advisers typically choose the commission type that they feel will benefit them the most based on how long they expect you to keep the policies in force. Our approach is to charge a fee for service and return all commissions to you. This allows us to choose a commission structure that we believe will benefit you the most. We are then paid by you, not the insurer. Accordingly our fees are not dependant on the recommendations made (i.e. to cancel policies or take out additional cover). We believe this method breaks the cycle of “selling insurance” and places the emphasis on good advice.
