Ian Rodrigues

Director

Ian has extensive experience in commercial and taxation matters related to business and property. Ian’s experience also extends to succession planning, estate planning, superannuation and asset protection advice.

Ian is responsible for specialist taxation advisory services and information for Bishop Collins’ clients. Ian is an active commentator and presenter on taxation reform and related subjects. Ian is also a significant contributor to his profession where he is a NSW State Councillor of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia (ICAA) dealing with all issues facing small practice advisors.

Away from work, Ian keeps busy with his young family, usually cycling, swimming or boating.

David McClelland

Director

David started as a trainee with “Ernst & Young” in 1979, graduated from the University of NSW majoring in Accounting, Finance & Systems in 1982, and became a Chartered Accountant in 1984.

As well as his professional experience, David has been General Manager and Manager of two licensed clubs over a 13 year period. He gained practical knowledge of all aspects of gaming, liquor, catering and sports management.

David has also been the Financial Accountant & Financial Controller of manufacturing organisations including one with overseas reporting requirements to the United Kingdom and Germany.

Outside of business, David is a passionate golfer, playing off a handicap of 2.

Associate Directors

Sarah Keenan

Associate Director

Bishop Collins Pty Ltd Chartered Accountants appointed Sarah Keenan as Associate Directors with effect from 1 July. Director Ian Rodrigues said “The appointment is recognition of their outstanding skills, professionalism and leadership.”

Sarah also serves as the Chairperson of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Central Coast Group. Sarah was instrumental in starting the group. Through her efforts she has created a collegiate group for our local professional colleagues.

Phillip Keenan

Associate Director

Phil has almost completed his Masters of Taxation scoring the highest mark in Self Managed Superannuation, a testimony to his strengths in this field. Bishop Collins are known for their expertise in taxation and superannuation. Phil is a significant component of this.

Phil holds a Bachelor of Commerce and is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.

Brad Wilson

Consultant

Brad joined Bishop Collins in January 2005, having spent the previous 12 years working in both Chartered Accounting firms and in a commercial environment, managing his own businesses. With his broad range of experience, Brad is well qualified to lead our Business Services division, specialising in management advice, taxation structures and planning advice. Away from the office, Brad is a keen motorcyclist.
